Pigeonhole Live integration is available on all Hopin plans.
Pigeonhole Live is an audience engagement tool that boosts live interactivity in your virtual events, hybrid, and in-person events. Add Pigeonhole Live to your Hopin events to power vibrant conversations, crowdsource questions, get feedback, and keep your audience engaged.
After installing the Pigeonhole Live integration, choose an event and navigate to the relevant area of your event dashboard (for this example we'll use a Session). In the Integrations section of the configuration page, you'll see fields that will allow you to configure Pigeonhole Live for your event. You will need to provide the Tab Name (ex. "Pigeonhole"), Pass Code, Session Id (see in the next step how to get them) and check "Pigeonhole Live Enabled". Don't forget to save the session.
The Pigeonhole Live Pass Code and Session Id can be obtained from your pigeonhole Sessions Page, as indicated below.
Make sure you have both "Allow creating attendee profiles through embed" and "Enable registrant profile for this event" checked, in the "More Settings" and "Attendees" tab in your pigeonhole. Don't forget to save.
Also make sure you have the "Prompt attendees to enter Attendee Code when joining a Pigeonhole event" unchecked and "Allow adding new Registrant Profiles through embed" checked, in the "More Settings", "Attendees" and "Registrant Profile Settings" tab in your pigeonhole. Don't forget to save.
After saving the Hopin session in your event dashboard you can use the 'Preview Event' button in the top righthand corner to check the Pigeonhole Live app in the relevant event area:
Now your audience can experience Pigeonhole Live within Hopin in the right-hand side panel.
